(Loveland Reporter Harold) Bond hearing for suspected Madison Avenue shooter moved to November

(Dated Oct. 15) A bond hearing was rescheduled Thursday for Tiera Marie Kelley, the suspect arrested in a shooting at the Madison Avenue Apartments in August.

Kelley, 26, allegedly shot 28-year-old Mystique S'ade Wadena five times, hitting her in the face, legs and hands, after a dispute over Wadena's parenting of her child.

During her first appearance Sept. 10, Judge Laurie Dean explained that the district attorney had filed charges against Kelley of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, felony menacing, burglary and child abuse, along with two sentence enhancers. At that time, Dan Jasinski was assigned as Kelley's defense attorney and a bond hearing was sent for Oct. 15.

Kelley appeared virtually in court Thursday, where Jasinski stated there was still a lot of work to do in the investigation of the case, and asked that the hearing be pushed back another month.

Jasinski also stated that during the investigation and evidence gathering portion of this case a search warrant had been approved to receive Kelley's physical and mental health records for SummitStone Health Partners both in Loveland and Fort Collins, something Jasinski said he had "significant concerns" about. He asked that if these records were to be taken into evidence that the records be placed under seal until a discussion can be had in court about them, with Dean approved.

Kelley will reappear in court Nov. 19 at 2:30 p.m. for a possible disposition and bond hearing.
