August 30, 2020, around 3:12pm, Mystique arrived by ambulance to the Medical Center of the Rockies while a full trauma waited her arrival. The news of her brutal attack by gun fire was echoing the social media wavelengths as her family and friends awaited news of her condition.
What happened? A neighbor decided she didn't agree with Mystique's parenting of her 4-year-old child and decided to unload a 38 revolver into Mystique. The scene was one out of a Lifetime Movie. It couldn't be real....everyone loved Mystique! Unfortunately, it is real.
When she arrived at MCR, she was immediately intubated and chest tubes were placed on both sides to help with collapsed lungs. She had an arterial IV line place in her leg/groin area. She was taken into the operating room and was operated on for 5 hours before the surgeon's decided that her body has gone through enough and it wouldn't be safe to continue. She was shot six times: 2 in the face, the hand, right chest, left chest, and ankle. This does not count the exit wounds that she endured. Her jaw was shattered....so was her hand. A bullet hit her carotid artery and she was lucky to have someone who loves her apply pressure on the wound or this website would be much different.
We all waiting on the edge of our seats...praying to the Lord that Mystique would survive through the night. No one could rest until the news came.
